Low-order waveplates are made from high quality optical grade crystalline quartz quarter wave and half wave retardation versions available suitable for high and low power laesr applications. Better temperature (38℃), wavelength (1.5nm) and incident angle (4.5deg) bandwidth and high damage threshold make it widely used in common application. Also, it is economical.
